PEI-Staffing.com is Hiring an Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician (FT) Near San Antonio, TX
- Install new products/equipment and test them to ensure they are working correctly.
- Proficient in performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, encompassing hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing various electrical components, such as PLCs, relays, fuses, motors, pumps, and screw/screw motors.
- Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
- Work with Procurement team to order parts for repair if needed.
- Perform maintenance and provide customer support.
- Educate the client on how to use and maintain equipment/plant.
- Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot Liquefaction equipment including compressors.
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.
- Travel requirements for this job are above 70%.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills.
- Working knowledge of the compressors and other Liquefaction equipment.
- Ability to work independently without much supervision.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to effectively manage time.
